 Did you know that your USTA membership helps support the game you love? The United States Tennis Association and the USTA Middle States are dedicated to bringing the game of tennis to everyone who wants to play. Through the USTA's many diverse community-based tennis programs, players of all ages and abilities are being nurtured and developed. The United States Tennis Association Middle States, the local official governing body of tennis has over 31,000 members. This includes adult, junior, family and organizational memberships.

The USTA is a nonprofit, diverse organization founded in 1881 by volunteers and tennis enthusiasts and is still guided by volunteer leadership today. The USTA’s total membership is now more 700,000 members, also a record. 

Who we are:
• USTA is the largest tennis organization in the world and is divided into 17 geographical sections. Middle States encompasses Pennsylvania, Delaware, most of New Jersey and northeastern West Virginia.Our mission: to promote and develop the growth of tennis.
• Our vision: 30 million players by 2010.
• Current membership: Nationwide, more than a half-million individual and organizational members; nearly 25 million tennis players (members and non-members), with 5.8 million new players in 2005.In Middle States alone, there are more than 31,000 members and about one and one half million players.

What we do:
• Promote both competitive and community tennis programs for youth and adults.
• Offer education, resource and community support to thousands of local programs and service organizations.
• Provide scholarships and grants to deserving junior players, teaching professionals, community tennis associations and more.
• Advocate a healthy lifestyle – with tennis, the sport for a lifetime.

We remain firmly  committed in our mission to promote and develop the growth of tennis in the Middle States.  

 *For members subscribing to an Adult, Family or Life Membership, $10 of all membership dues is allocated for a 1-year subscription to TENNIS magazine. For members subscribing to a Junior Membership, $10 of all membership dues is allocated for a 1-year subscription to SMASH magazine. The amount allocated is not deductible from membership dues.

**USTA members will receive an additional 5% off the current promotional rate at time of booking through Sandals Resorts and Beaches Resorts. This promotion is only valid when logging into your account online. It is not available through online bookings. Resort credit must be used in conjunction with initial stay. Credit to be used toward incidental charges in retail outlets or spa and is not valid toward any outside vendor.

• Tennis, USTA, Smash Magazine and the Middle States official quarterly publication, NetPlay and Middle States Yearbook sent to your doorstep. The Middle States bi-weekly e-newsletter sent via e-mail to your virtual doorstep.

                                                                                

 Membership Services

•  Members can now communicate with the USTA Member Services department via e-mail at Memberservices@usta.com.

•  Members can  contact Member Services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at 1-800-990-8782 to renew memberships and update information. 

•  An enhanced online service allows members to sign-up, renew, or upgrade their personal profile in an instant at usta.com.

•  TennisLink gives our members the ability to register for tournaments, and to view results and standings, all on the web. Members can also sign up for leagues on-line and track results, individual statistics and team standings.

•  Section websites give members convenient access to local information.
