Organization of the Year - Non-commercial
The Organization of the Year Award was instituted in 1981 to recognize the services by USTA organization members. Organization members that are committed to growing the game through outreach and inclusion are eligible for this award. USTA MS member schools, community tennis associations, park and recreation centers, and other non-profit organizations.
The first organization of the year award given to a non-profit organization was in 1987 as the Arthur Ashe Tennis Club was the inaugural winner.
Nominee must be located in or provide service to the nominating district. Previous winners are eligible for renomination five years after receiving the award.
