COLLEGE DAY 2012
presented by USTA Middle States

Attention high school tennis players: Want to play college tennis, but need financial aid? Looking for a shot to earn a scholarship? USTA Middle States will answer these questions and more during College Day on Nov. 10 at the Legacy Youth Tennis and Education Center (formally Arthur Ashe Youth Tennis and Education Center) in Philadelphia. Some of the most influential tennis coaches on the east coast will be on hand to discuss collegiate tennis opportunities with student-athletes and their parents.
College Day features two segments. The first segment (11 a.m. to 1 p.m.) is an informational seminar for high school students and their parents. During the seminar attendees have the opportunity to listen to speakers, obtain information from colleges and universities, and interact with other student-athletes. The second segment (1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.) is the Senior and Junior Showcase. This is for high school juniors and seniors, and seniors' parents. In this session, juniors and seniors will compete in a doubles short-set format to display their skills for the coaches in attendance.
Two segments:
- 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. - Seminar
- 1:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. - Junior/Senior Showcase
Speakers include:
- Representatives from collegiate financial aid and admissions departments
- Division I, II and III coaches
