PSU repeats at Campus Championship
The beautiful Lehigh Valley played host to the 4th Annual USTA Campus Championship – Middle States, Oct. 20-21 at Lehigh University. Sunny skies and gorgeous fall foliage greeted the 20 competing teams. Penn State University (PSU) and Villanova University were the top two unique finishers and have received automatic bids to the 2008 National Campus Championship.

The premier Collegiate Club Tennis teams in the Northeast will square-off in the first ever “Battle of the Sections: A Northeast Region Event” held Sept. 15-16 at Billie Jean King USTA National Tennis Center in Flushing, N.Y.

The Ultimate Final Exam
Five clubs from Middle States will participate in the 2007 national championships, the ultimate final exam including Penn State, Lehigh, Delaware, College of New Jersey (TCNJ) and Villanova.

Shook honored by USTA and ITA
Lehigh University tennis coach Dave Shook was honored with the USTA/ITA National Campus Recreation award Dec. 15 at the Doral Resort in Miami. The award ceremony took place during the annual membership and awards banquet during the ITA Coaches Convention.

The University of Delaware club team captured the fall 2006 Tennis on Campus league championship with a 5-4 victory over the College of New Jersey (TCNJ).
